Maybe changing your host to Cubase or something like that would be useful. My system has 2.

I have a Focusrite Saffire which has a very good asio performance with its own asio driver, but I have never used it since I discover asio4all. With my setup and auciofire it should be possible to achieve very low latency just like the TD12 brain or at least very very close to it, right? I always had the impression the only buffer size setting I could change was the one in Toontrack Solo. Haven’t received registration validation E-mail? Does anybody here have anything to say about the Echo Audiofire 12? On the Mac, there’s one other thing for audio which aeio an app called “audio midi setup”. Maybe try an older driver? There are faders for the in- azio outputs, digital and analog, I can set different bit resolutions and higher sampling rates and I can change the signal routing.

Sorry I can’t speak on AudioFire interface in regards to firewire, nor have I heard of the issue posted by Patrice, but I can tell you the audio quality is better than most expect at the price. If you have chosen wrong audio device you could also have a milli second slider which actually adds latency and doesn’t lower it at all. If Toontrack would add lower latency settings would I finally be able to enjoy sudiofire stuff?

I have it for some time now and it’s great. Make sure it actually says ‘buffer size’ when you adjust it. I’d love to have 2 Lynx Aurora 16s, but that’s not going to happen.
